Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your account and all associated data.
Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your FlyBys account, send an email to:
Include the email address associated with your FlyBys account. We will process your request within 30 days.
In-App Deletion
You can also delete your account directly within the app:
- Open the FlyBys app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your user profile and account information
- All submitted properties and addresses
- All property reports and analysis results
- Risk assessments and scores
- Solar data records
- Saved lists and list memberships
- Device tokens and push notification settings
- Report credits and usage history
- Generated PDF reports
- Property embeddings and similarity data
Data Retention Exceptions
Certain data may be retained after account deletion as required by law:
- Purchase records: Financial transaction records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained
- Database backups: Your data may persist in automated backups for up to 7 days after deletion
